Tourney raises funds for Dana Farber

The 5th Annual Tom Cosenzi Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $100,000 for brain tumor research at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The tournament is held annually in honor of Tom Cosenzi, who succumbed to brain cancer in 2009. On Dec. 13, Dr. Patrick Wen (left), director of the Center for Neuro-Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, accepted a $102,300 check from  Carla Cosenzi (center) of Longmeadow, TommyCar Auto Group president of and Tom’s daughter, and Tommy Cosenzi (right) of West Springfield, TommyCar Auto Group co-owner and Tom’s son.
