Sizzlin’ Summer BBQ: Fun for the Whole Family

LONGMEADOW, MA – When the temperatures sizzle, you know it is time for Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy’s (LYA) annual Summer Barbecue. LYA’s Annual Sizzlin’ Summer Barbecue will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 16 from 4:45-7 p.m. at 1148 Converse St. in Longmeadow.

LYA’s summer barbecue will feature an exciting hour-long performance by Chris Poulos, beginning at 5:45 p.m. The performance will include bicycle stunts, audience participation, pre-show autograph session, and a meet and greet.

Chris has won 85 worldwide competitions, but he is best known for winning the 1991 Bicycle Stunt World Championships in Denmark at age 20. Chris also won the 1990 and 1991 National Bicycle Stunt Championships in the United States.

Since 2000, Chris has become one of the most sought after youth motivational speakers in the country. Chris is the go-to-guy for schools, youth & teen conferences, and colleges that want to improve the character and self-esteem of their audience. Chris presently performs at over 150 locations per year.

“LYA is so excited to be bringing out Chris Poulos to the community,” said Stephanie Zolotor, Co-Educational Director at LYA. “His bike performance and will captivate audiences of all ages.”

The community is invited to attend a fun-filled event with activities for the entire family. In addition to the bike performance there will be summer activities for all ages. A barbecue dinner with hot dogs, hamburgers, and salads will be sold at family prices. Vegan options will be available as well. There is no charge for the show or activities.
