Longmeadow Police Logs, Sept. 30-Oct. 6

Monday, Sept. 30

4:20 p.m.: A police captain reported a male was sitting on a wood fence on Laurel Street when the fence fell apart, causing the man to fall. The man refused medical response or treatment.

6:35 p.m.: A caller reported finding possible evidence of a housebreak on Twin Hills Drive.

8:00 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic operator who drove into oncoming traffic and then pulled into Hopkins Place. Officers found the vehicle was gone prior to arrival and searched the surrounding area to no avail.

Tuesday, Oct. 1

2:09 a.m.: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Longmeadow Street for a headlight violation. Kevin Hampton, 20, of 5 First Ave., Enfield, Connecticut, was arrested and charged with a motor vehicle lights violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

1:09 p.m.: A party reported possible fraud. He said a gas account has been opened in his name.

3:41 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Blueberry Hill road and Converse Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

7:04 a.m.: A caller on Englewood Road reported their vehicle had been entered. The reporting party later reported another car was also broken into at that address.

1:22 p.m.: Police investigated reported harassment on Western Drive.

1:35 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Williams Street.

Thursday, Oct. 3

12:47 p.m.: A caller reported two vehicles on Pleasantview Avenue were reported and change was missing.

2:29 p.m.: Police investigated a report of a party receiving threatening mail on Pleasantview Avenue.

4:36 p.m.: Police investigated reported harassment on Cooley Drive.

Friday, Oct. 4

7:31 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Bliss Road.

8:51 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Converse Street and Normandy Road.

9:44 a.m.: Police served a warrant on Captain Road. Nico Podgurski, 20, of 320 Captain Road, Longmeadow, was arrested on two warrants (LPD charges).

11:08 a.m.: A caller reported three parties on Barrington Road were causing a disturbance. One party was reportedly carrying a bat. The reporting party stated they were inside the car on their property as well.

3:51 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Mill Road.

4:08 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Converse Street.

Saturday, Oct. 5

10:38 a.m.: A party reports she got confused in the woods and is now in Enfield, Connecticut. An officer located the party and transported her back to her vehicle on Wolf Swamp Road.

3:07 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Laurel Street and Williams Street. A citation was issued for a red lens violation.

3:36 p.m.: A party on Blueberry Hill Road reported their garage was broken into and change was missing from their vehicle.

Sunday, Oct. 6

1:16 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Longmeadow Street.
