Monday, Jan. 20

7:38 p.m.: A caller reported his tires were slashed on Hawthorn Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 21

1:02 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Dwight Road.

6:33 p.m.: A caller reported smelling cigarette smoke at her home on Eunice Drive. The reporting party stated it was strange because no one at the home smokes.

7:56 p.m.: Police received a request for patrols in a Bliss Road parking lot while workers step out of their cars due to concern for their safety after a male party made threats earlier that day.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

2:27 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash involving a car and a utility pole occurred near Redfern Drive and Williams Street. The motor vehicle left the scene and was found in the area of Longmeadow High School.

7:38 p.m.: A caller reported seeing an erratic driver crash into a parked vehicle on Bliss Road and keep driving. The vehicle was last seen on Williams Street headed toward East Longmeadow. Eric J. Thor, 52, of 76 Duxbury Lane, Longmeadow, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of property damage and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

8:15 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Lincoln Road.

Thursday, Jan. 23

8:16 a.m.: A suspicious item was found on Grassy Gutter Road.

12:35 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Bliss Road.

5:05 p.m.: Police received a report of a car driving erratically before it went into a snowbank. The reporting party said the driver appeared to be on medication or EtOH. William A. Hamlin, 67, of 128 Wenonah Road, Longmeadow, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor (second offense).

10:05 p.m.: A caller reported that a sedan began following her home near Meadow Street and Maple Street with its headlights off. The reporting party stated she started turning down random side streets to try to divert them and the car continued to pursue her.

Friday, Jan. 24

9:14 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Laurel Street and Converse Street.

11:25 a.m.: A caller reported his son’s car on Briarcliff Road was egged during the night.

4:23 p.m.: A caller from Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy reported their affiliated organization in Peabody had received threats targeting the Jewish community via email and wanted local police to be aware.

Saturday, Jan. 25

4:30 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Bliss Road.

8:08 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on King Philip Drive. A reporting party stated the vehicle came through a few yards and crashed into a tree.

Sunday, Jan. 26

12:24 p.m.: A caller reported her elderly sister was lost, driving a blue sedan.

7:26 p.m.: Police received a report of a deer stuck on a fence on Longmeadow Street.

3:04 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Bliss Road.
