Monday, Dec. 30

9:02 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Longmeadow Street and Meadow Road.

9:17 a.m.: A vehicle fire was reported on Bliss Road behind the Longmeadow Shops.

2:01 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Shaker Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 31

10:48 a.m.: A reporting party on Green Hill Road stated someone threw a bag of trash into the bed of his truck. The contents included empty alcohol containers and drug paraphernalia.

1:14 p.m.: A reporting party stated his house sitter noticed the front door of his Maple Street home had been damaged, possibly hit with a hammer, and though someone had attempted to break in. Police determined the house was secure and took photos.

Wednesday, Jan. 1

1:28 p.m.: A reporting party stated two white males in their 30s were seen coming from Pondside Road into the Tyler Landscaping property near the DPW. An officer spoke with the individuals who said they were not on the property but were looking for deer antlers in the woods.

Thursday, Jan. 2

10:20 a.m.: Police received a report of a drug overdose on Britton Street. The party was transported to the hospital.

10:35 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash involving a school bus and a van occurred near Bliss Road and Longmeadow Street.

5:28 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Converse Street and Dwight Road.

7:56 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred near Wolf Swamp Road and Meadowlark Drive.

Friday, Jan. 3

Saturday, Jan. 4

2:48 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash occurred on Converse Street.

Sunday, Jan. 5

11:53 a.m.: An alleged hit-and-run motor vehicle crash occurred on Bliss Road.

4:36 p.m.: A caller reported there was smoke coming from the fireplace in the basement of a building on Bel-Air Drive. The reporting party said there was no fire in the fireplace, but smoke was still present. The fire was extinguished.
